Anticipate that Viera Medical Center will open its doors to serve the residents of the Viera-area in early 2008.

Health First, owner of Viera Medical Center, expects that the initial phase of the project, the Viera Health Park, will create almost 200 new jobs. And, once phase two of the project is completed, the Viera Medical Center, will create hundreds more new jobs.

First phase:

• Construction to begin in 2005
• 235 new jobs (estimated)
• Pro-Health & Fitness Center, diagnostic services, outpatient surgery, rehabilitation, urgent care, physician office building

Second phase:

• Scheduled for 2008 to 2010
• Hundreds of new jobs
• Hospital with all private rooms, full-service Emergency Department, additional physician office space

Subsequent phases:

• Additional specialty services
• Independent and assisted living facility
